How it works?

Extending taxes with eZextension.com is a cakewalk. Individuals (IRS form 4868) can extend their tax due date to October 15, and businesses (IRS form 7004) can extend their tax due date to September 16. There are only three simple steps:

  • Step 1

  • Provide the personal or business data which the IRS requires from you to file a tax extension. This information will include your personal or business name, address, and social security number (Tax-ID or EIN for business). You will need to provide W2s, 1099s, or any other tax forms at this time. Your information is safe, secure, and shared only with IRS.

  • Step 2

  • Estimate if you are getting a tax refund, or expect to incur tax liability. For individual tax extension (form 4868), you will have access to a mini calculator to help estimate your tax owed, if any. For business tax extension (form 7004), follow the procedures to estimate your tax situation. If you expect to owe, and want to make a tax payment to avoid IRS interest and penalties for late payment, you can send payment via check or electronically from your bank via Electronic Funds Transfer to the IRS. The choice is yours.

  • Step 3

  • Once you submit your tax extension application, we send it to the IRS for approval. The transmission of information to the IRS is safe and secure, and we protect your data at all times.
That's it! In 1-2 business days you will receive your IRS approval via email.

And that's it. You're done. In 1-2 business days you will receive your IRS approval via email.
